The rise in work hours and the metropolitan lifestyle has made it increasingly
difficult for people to expand their social circles and meet new people. This
has resulted in a huge and fast-growing international market for services that
allow people to meet in more effective ways than traditional methods such as
bars and personals ads.
Magic Match Party was launched in October 2004 with the goal of helping people
easily meet potential dates and new friends through our unique events. Our
events are designed to help people overcome the psychological barriers
typically associated with meeting new people. In order to help people break the
ice and start an initial conversation, we hire trained Match Makers that
facilitate casual introductions. These outgoing Match Makers quickly introduce
strangers to each other and make our events a great way to meet lots of people.
Since our initial launch in New York City, we have grown rapidly and
currently also have events in Toronto, Boston, and Taipei. To
facilitate future growth, we are currently looking for talented and dedicated
franchise owners in major cities around the world.
